We’re delighted and honored to receive no fewer than six training industry awards this year.
Last month in New Orleans, we collected a Gold in the Simulations category of Training Magazine’s eLearning Design Challenge (eLDC). The judges praised our 3D Guest-Experience simulation for the American Hotel & Lodging Association with the following words:
The game has an immersive, 3-D world environment.
Learners engage in real-life scenarios, such as assisting a customer with a handicap, spotting an unidentified duffle bag in the lobby, or filling out paperwork they use on the job.
It is an excellent transfer to real-life work skills.
A few months earlier, Gronstedt Group and our client Intuit were honored with the “2017 Serious Play Award” for our cyber security game. Just last week, we won the business category of the Serious Games Showcase & Challenge for the same game. Our tower defense-style learning game was one of 14 finalists in the business category showcased at I/ITSEC, the world’s largest simulation training conference. If you would, take a few moments to watch this demo of the tower defense-style learning game and you’ll see why the judges were so impressed.
Finally, were proud to win three 2017 Learning! 100 Awards for our Mission-Possible-themed sales simulation for Hewlett Packard Enterprise, our 3D immersive hospitality simulation, and our cyber security game for Intuit.
Major credit goes to our clients’ project teams, obviously – it’s impossible to develop effective learning applications absent client expertise and a genuine commitment to collaboration.
